Need to get back to work but will try to update more in a bit! Note this was trying with EQ setting saved to device. Apart from on Windows Sonic it appeared slightly louder in terms of overall volume. It didn't seem to make any/much difference if you set the XB1 to output Stereo/Windows Sonic or Dolby Atmos for headphones.
There was a very noticeable increase in amplification of the sound whilst the USB dongle was connected to my laptop vs unplugged (laptop was setup for outputting just stereo/and whilst the laptop was set to surround output) Also I switched between the headset and built in laptop speakers which made no difference as to the increase in amplification to the headset whilst USB adapter was connected to the laptop, headset powered on and connected to the controller. After lot's of research and testing, I would like to share with you's my settings on what I believe sounds the best and is the best way to set up any Headphones or Headset with a computer or laptop. The audio was very "tinny" when headset powered on or off but not connected to my laptop in anyway and just to the controller as normal.

I couldn't tell any difference making the EQ changes whilst in-game, making both manual adjustments and comparing to some of the presets (whilst headset was powered on and both with the USB dongle connected to my laptop and without, whilst being connected to the controller via the cable and in powered mode). Theyre pretty loud if you max the frequencies out but thats the best part of an equalizer. There is also a bass boost setting within Warzone 2 that videos/guides say boost the footsteps but thats probably everything from 20Hz-180Hz or something. Things I noticed though and this was purely my observations and opinions: Ive fiddled around with other equalizer programs - APO Equalizer. I did do a lot of testing but it was still somewhat limited.
